Many folks have mentioned that my tweet threads have been helpful, clarifying, and sometimes infuriating. Some have used other adjectives I’d prefer not repeat. I’ve been asked where people can find them all in one place, and I’ve never had an answer. So here we go! This directory is organized into categories, and threads are ordered within those categories by their popularity (or, I guess, their popularity the last time I checked).

The right time would be when d's and r's each have reasonable persons running for president, i.e. Obama and Romney. 3d parties are spoilers and bring unintended consequences (UC). Anytime trump is running is the wrong time to risk a UC. Stop

1) A moderate Republican in NC, embarrassed by his (former) party.
2) A Democrat in NOLA who believes Democrats take her Black community for granted.
3) A Bernie Sanders activist in VT who witnessed Democrat political gamesmanship in 2020.

For months, organizers have been hosting events around the country. From little 5-10 person meetups in bars to major online statewide strategy meetings with 50-100 people.

350,000 local offices (and 85% of congress) go uncontested or barely contested every cycle.
This is not a democracy. It is not a republic.
Our nation is an oligarchy.
Reform elections themselves & allow local citizens to solve problems plaguing their communities.

A new political party doesn't mean voting for moderate ideas or milquetoast policies. It means voting for the creative, innovative and new. It means novel reforms. And, most importantly, it means dropping bad ideas when they bomb, improving, and finding new solutions.

1) Election reform
2) A new political party
3) Choosing to love people around you, regardless of their beliefs

Very little progress is made on pretty much any political issue we think about. There are two ways to respond:
1) The other guys should get out of my party's way.
2) The system itself is designed to reenforce stagnation.
The first way is silly. The second way shows the path.

The Democrat Governor of Nevada, @SteveSisolak, used an old PAC to spend $685,000 supporting pro-life, pro-gun Republicans during the primaries. He launched it at the last minute so he wouldn't have to disclose before the primary - no one knew where the money was coming from.
